GO TROJANS!

Just don't ask me the score of the game. I was too busy looking at the cuteness that is this:

Go sports! Or whatever.

FOUND: My Sanity.

Yeah, right. That one is looong gone.

But I did find my camera! WHEW! And thank goodness, because you might have missed out on this gem:

Pictures from the big Triopia High School Homecoming game (I know, who cares? Sports - blah.) tomorrow!

Last Saturday.

Just some random pictures from last weekend. It may have been Sunday. I do not recall.

Make It 6.

Dave and I celebrated our six year anniversary in style.

In short, we went fishing and ate Taco Hell for supper.

In long (does that work?), it was an evening that we got to hang out, the two of us, alone. A rare night indeed. We fished and talked and talked some more. Again, very rare. Usually our dicussions are peppered with pipe-ups from Princess Hallie (hello alliteration!).

But tonight, it was just us, Zoey and the fish.

So we talked.

And ate fruit snacks.

And caught fish.

And Dave rowed.

And it was lovely.

Have Cord. Will Post.

I promise.

But you see, I left it in the car. And i'm very comfortable at work right now with my space heater on and my PB bagel. So you'll have to wait until after lunch to see pictures from our anniversary.

It's worth the wait, I promise.

To help your patience, I will give you pictures from last year's anniversary. Enjoy!

HA!

Screw you, camera cord! I'll use someone ELSE'S pictures!

My mom (aka Nana Jo) came to spend the day with Hal last Thursday. Here are some great pictures she sent!

ARG.

Where is my camera cord?!

More Baby Stealing.

Last time it was Eve. This time, it's Baby Sam. I can't help myself. This kid is cute, chubby and easy going. That is a winning combination if I ever heard one!

My next kid (not an announcement) had better be a clone of Sam.

There were other people at Abbie's house that day, but I can't see past THIS STINKIN' CUTE KID!

Oh wait...here are some of the "others" who were also there.

But let's get back to this.

Sep 18, 2009

It's All About Me.

I'm not sure if I actually mentioned that Hallie was sick too? Oh yeah - we both had colds. And one day she said that she had a sore throat.

So I gave her a cough drop. And she looked really cute with it, so I took a picture. Or two.

The End.

Feeling Much Better, Thank You.

My cold seems to be retreating, so i'm back with words, not just pictures. So let me tell you more about the Frog/Toad/Turtle Races.

Picture this....

Dozens of children and adults gathered around to see what appears to be the most exciting thing Arenzville has ever encountered. What is it?! Oh, it's a gigantic, disgusting mound of reptiles. Ew, ew, EW. I mean, I'll touch a toad with the best of them, but to see that many all lumped together was pretty yucky.

And I much prefer toads to frogs, in case you were wondering. Frogs are slick and slimy. Toads aren't exactly un-nasty, but watching Elizabeth Werries grip a slimey frog was pretty sick.

So here's how it goes. You bring a reptile, mark it with fingernail polish (sorry PETA) and put it in a hole in a large, upside down, black bucket.

And then the Ring Master (aka Jerod Beard) lifts it up.

The reptiles sit there until forced to move, and then you watch them to see who crosses the orange, spray-painted line. Prizes for first, second and third follow.

We did not win, but I'm pretty sure it was fixed.
